🛸 SEAPUNK PROTO-COLLEGE

**Seapunk Proto-College** (SPC) is an upcoming one-week pop-up college in Kuala Lumpur this Sep 15-20 that will be one part frontier study group, one part polycrisis-era Southeast Asian studies, and one part prototype SEA storytelling school.

Seapunk is thrilled to introduce SOUTH BEAST ASIA, a fictional world haunted by AIs in all sorts of (mostly) friendly living embodied forms!

This release comprises thirteen videos that collectively depict a fictional world, supported by an introductory video trailer, expository essay, and dozens of imagined artifacts and concept imagery.

With the exception of the trailer and essay, all other exhibits were created during the five-day Khlongs & Subaks protocol design fiction workshop co-hosted by Seapunk Studios for a few dozen researchers in April 2025. Read the curator’s introduction here, or check out southbeast.asia for more.
