Welcome Seapunks!

We’re excited to kick off our 2026 season: Season Two is about Rewilding Seasian Agency.

Over these next six months (May-Nov 2026), we will be exploring the three research questions below through a fortnightly online series and various in-person programs.

🌄 Pluriversal Solarpunk — Diverse hopeful futures for worlds beyond one-size-fits-all
🏝️ Archipelagic Coordination — How ‘seas of islands‘ coordinate without coercion
🌳 Ecoarchic Institutions — Systems where nature and ecology are ‘in charge’

🆘 SOS online series. The season’s spine, SOS is a fortnightly online series that offers an accessible yet live way to plug into our research, co-imaginations, and programs as they unfold. Each SOS will have a mix of thematic discussion (talks, panels, etc.) and community updates. The first SOS is May 21 (Thu), and subsequent sessions will be every two weeks thereafter.

⛵ SAIL Solarpunk & Artificial Imagination Lab. Our first in-person program this year, SAIL is a monthlong (May 10-June 6) solarpunk and artificial imagination lab with muShanghai where we will be exploring pluriversal solarpunk possibilities for the global South enabled by frontier Chinese tech, along with new friends from around the world.
